HISTORY
Landshandilin has been in import, export, trading and transport business since 1941. The company started as a Government-war-monopoly in the beginning of world war two. The company rationed out basic foodstuffs. After the war the company was privatized in 1952. Today the company is one of the leading import and export companies in the Faroe Islands. The company head office is in Tórshavn, the capital and center of the Faroe Islands. |
